Endless

The distance in our lives is blatant now and here we stand again,
We're further now than we have been before with no desire to mend,
An image blurred by space is clearer now and focused in my head,
The sands of time work in my favour now, I've put the past to bed

Going down, moving out,

An endless dream but in the past,

And with the ache becoming duller now and fading with each day,
We start forgetting what it used to be and all we used to say,

A year dissolved in caustic memories, my lines have all been crossed
